Adhithya Venkatapathy is an Indian musician who hails from Tamil Nadu. He is best known for being part of the duo band Hiphop Tamizha, along with R. Jeeva. Born into a family from an agricultural background, Adhithya`s first exposure to hip hop was when a neighbour made him listen to Michael Jackson`s Jam. The song kickstarted his interest in rap and soon he was uploading original rap songs onto the internet, while still in the tenth grade. After a year of proving his worth, Adhithya received his parents blessings to pursue a career in music.

In 2005 Adhithya met Jeeva, and the two of them decided to start their own independent music group. While in college Adhithya released Club le Mabbu le, the recording of which went viral. Another milestone was when the pair wrote and performed the official anthem for Tamil Nadu`s 2011 state elections. In 2012 they released India`s first Tamil hip hop album - Hip Hop Tamizhan. It was a major success and granted them more recognition. Since 2013 the pair have also gotten involved in composing music for films. Their credits include Meesaya Murukku (2017), Natpe Thunai (2019) and Naan Sirithal (2020), in which Adhi has also acted in prominent roles.
